My Education, Credentials, and Training

  • I have a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology (major) and Child, Youth, and Family Studies (minor) with honours from the University of Guelph and a Master of Arts degree in Counselling Psychology with distinction from Yorkville University. 

 

  • I also felt it important to mention that I attended Waldorf schools for both my early and high school education. The Waldorf philosophy encourages an appreciation for creativity, individuality, and a holistic approach to personal growth and learning.

  • I am a Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying) under supervision, in good standing with the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario (CRPO) and a member of the Canadian Counselling and Psychotherapy Association (CCPA). 

  • I have Applied Suicide Intervention Skills Training (ASIST) and have completed various trainings and self-guided learning on concerns such as trauma, grief, perfectionism, relational betrayal, boundary setting, and desire discrepancy as well as modalities such as internal family systems, cognitive behavioural therapy, compassion focused therapy, attachment theory, and polyvagal theory.
